April 17th Poetry Prompt: Put a timer on for 10 minutes, write a poem and incorporate the word 'orange' in it!
unmold me between your palms
roll me around, friction forming
between our skins
caress me between your fingertips
underneath your pads,
feel for my weaker spots
shudder across me as you work
back my tough, warped layers--
feel for the softer sections under
neath
protrude between me
exposed
watch me b underneath your grip

as you p l u c k a w a y my delicate pieces
suctioning my taste in your mouth
glistening juices trickle d

your chin
hunger is forged.
piece by piece,
sloppy but sweet--
minutes it takes
sometimes the skin
is too rough,
pieces too full,
process too
much
but come now, we're finished
wipe away traces and mop up any
stray d r o p l e t s from the surface
as you smile and taste my remains
on your breath, shall i ask:
"orange you glad we had a taste?"
